Exciting Opportunity for a Project Engineer:

Matchbox Consulting Group is actively seeking a skilled Project Engineer to become a part of their dynamic team on a contract basis. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a prominent utility and energy organization in British Columbia.

Role Overview:

  • Leverage engineering knowledge to provide creative solutions for projects of medium to high complexity.
  • Deliver engineering, cost estimation, project planning, and quality assurance services.
  • Support the achievement of safety, budget, quality, and timeline goals for various projects.
  • Independently address technical design and field engineering issues.
  • Participate in the formulation of technical standards and operational practices.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in leading or coordinating design teams.
  • Familiarity with protection and control components is advantageous.
  • A solid foundation in electric utility engineering.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and design frameworks.
