About the Role

This is a regulatory position that involves supervising the activities of elementary students, ensuring their safety and well-being on school grounds, in common areas, and in classrooms during designated periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain order and safety of students using behavior management and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Perform simple clerical or library tasks and operate photocopying and laminating equipment.
  • Administer basic first aid as needed.
  • Provide assistance to staff and students as required.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of methods and procedures in controlling and regulating student behavior.
  • Working knowledge of school rules and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Completion of the 11th grade or equivalent.
  • Basic first aid certification.
  • Minimum six months prior experience related to raising children or working with children.
