About the Available Position:

Commissionaires South Saskatchewan is currently seeking committed individuals for casual/on-call roles and special events. Based on performance and potential new contracts, these positions may evolve into permanent full-time roles for interested candidates.

These entry-level opportunities will enable successful candidates to become Corps members, gaining access to training that can lead to career advancement within their local communities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check and reference background check is required.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Saskatchewan.
  • Previous experience in the security sector is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and a professional demeanor in all aspects of work and appearance are essential.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills are necessary for success in a diverse work environment.
  • Excellent customer service abilities are expected.
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork are crucial.
  • Familiarity with computers, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email, is important.
  • Candidates should be capable of working independently and efficiently with accuracy.
  • Availability to work on statutory holidays and weekends is necessary.
  • Depending on the position, a valid Saskatchewan Driver's License and a clean driving record may be required.
  • Emergency First Aid/CPR, Use of Force, and Dealing with Difficult People training must be completed within one month of hiring.
  • Candidates must have completed the Ministry of Corrections and Policing's forty (40) hour Private Investigators and Security Guard course and be eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan as a Security Guard.

**Successful candidates who do not possess the required training will be offered the opportunity to complete this training through Commissionaires prior to being assigned to a position.
