About the Role

Aviso Wealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Director, Data Governance and Information Management to join our Data Management & Business Intelligence team.

This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for managing all organization-wide data governance and information management activities, ensuring the quality and protection of sensitive data and information assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
  • Establish and maintain high standards for data security and privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Facilitate the efficient retrieval, usage, and sharing of data across the organization
  • Enable data-driven insights and analytics to guide organizational strategy and operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to establish and ensure adherence to an enterprise data governance framework
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or computer science or related field
  • 10 years minimum work experience in analytics field in the digital wealth or wealth management industry, and 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Expert knowledge of DCAM and the DMBOK, and EDM Council (or equivalent) membership/exposure
  • Highly skilled in data management tooling, including metadata, data lineage, data catalog, business glossary, data policy, and data quality
  • Knowledge of data-related regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
  • Proficiency in the architecture of a modern data stack
