As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults using computerized and other testing equipment, and performing repair work on heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance
Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding, requiring attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads. Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles are required.
