Diesel Mechanic Job Description

At 24 HRS SSR AUTO TOWING INC, we are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults using computerized and other testing equipment, and performing repair work on heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks, including adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic security clearance
  • Physically demanding work environment
