Job SummaryWe are seeking an AVP of Finance Operations to lead our finance operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering finance project and process improvement initiatives, supporting enterprise projects, and assessing the feasibility of finance change objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Finance Project and Process Improvement: Lead finance project and process improvement initiatives to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Enterprise Project Support: Support enterprise projects to ensure successful delivery and implementation.
- Finance Change Objectives: Assess the feasibility of finance change objectives, including delivery timeline and benefits.
- Finance Vision: Uphold finance visions in terms of value creation, customer service focus, and process simplification.
- Mentoring and Coaching: Mentor and coach a group of finance managers, including setting short- and long-term goals and providing 1:1 coaching.
- Finance Change Stream: Effectively own the finance change stream to achieve company goals while developing and retaining top talents.
- Designated Accounting Professionals: Designated accounting professionals with CA, CGA, CMA qualified or equivalent.
- Leadership Experience: 10+ years in a progressive leadership role, specifically within Finance, with strong exposure to financial systems implementation.
- Customer Focus: Strong sense of customer focus, quality results-oriented, managing stakeholder's expectation, and timely communication.
- Broad Business Knowledge: Broad business knowledge in Finance, accounting, reporting, planning, IT, systems, underwriting, claims operations, reserving, and IFRS17.
