Your Role

We are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager of Global Compliance to take ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert Canadian corporate tax services, encompassing tax accounting, tax accrual assessments, and the preparation of corporate income tax filings.
  • Manage tax correspondence, ensuring precision and adherence to tax regulations.
  • Guide clients through income tax audits conducted by various tax authorities, providing expertise and support throughout the process.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business needs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, new developments, and tax authority rulings, applying this knowledge to moderately complex scenarios.
  • Identify opportunities for tax planning and specialized services, offering strategic advice to clients.
  • Plan, organize, and execute tax planning engagements for Canadian corporations, ensuring top-tier service quality.
  • Foster the professional growth and development of tax professionals and junior staff through mentoring and coaching.
  • Actively engage in team initiatives, contributing to the accomplishment of team goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • You have achieved your CPA designation and completed the In-Depth Tax Program and/or a Master's in Tax.
  • You bring 5 years of experience in public accounting, with at least 3 years specializing in Tax.
  • You possess a comprehensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, planning, and compliance, including experience with public company and provision compliance.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and precision in your work.
  • You demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
