Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to contribute to our environmental initiatives at Eco Friendly M. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in landscaping or horticulture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction and maintenance of landscapes.
  • Secure and tie plants appropriately.
  • Perform weeding, pruning, and trimming of trees and plants.
  • Maintain grass areas through cutting and raking.
  • Collect and dispose of refuse and litter.
  • Transport and distribute topsoil and other landscaping materials.
  • Lay sod or seed as needed.
  • Plant various flora including bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Maintain and repair landscaping equipment.
  • Water and care for plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Operate landscape maintenance machinery efficiently.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with pick-up trucks and small engine equipment.
  • Familiarity with weed trimmers and edgers.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
  • Capability to engage in various physical activities including walking, bending, and kneeling.
Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required.
Work Environment
  • This position involves working on the road.
  • Hours of work range from 40 to 45 hours per week.
