About the Role

Ovintiv is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operator to join our team in Dawson Creek, BC. As an Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our production wells and water resource hub facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production wells and water resource hub facilities in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Troubleshoot process problems and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Monitor field well performance and/or water resource hub facility conditions using SCADA systems.
  • Maintain superior housekeeping standards throughout the field and facilities.
  • Perform minor maintenance and coordinate other maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with operations, maintenance, and management staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of operational experience.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in PC programs, specifically PVR, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong leadership abilities.
