Job Title: Intelligent Automation Portfolio Manager

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee the overall management of our portfolio, ensuring projects are on track and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the portfolio to ensure all projects are on track and objectives are met.
  • Regularly update and maintain the internal tool Asana.
  • Create strategic decks, presentations, and perform strategy work.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and track program metrics.
  • Serve as the face of the ongoing program, representing it in various forums.
Required Skills:
  • Extensive experience as a Program Manager or Portfolio Manager with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Asana.
  • Experience with Power BI applications for metric population.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of intelligent automation capabilities and applications.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally at a managerial level.
  • Previous experience with automation tools such as RPA (robotic process automation), AI, ML, and ChatGPT.
Preferred Skills:
  • 6+ years of related experience in intelligent automation or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in project, program, and portfolio management.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of automation technologies and tools, including RPA, AI, and ML.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Good working knowledge of IT functions and services, with expertise in one or more IT areas or disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of critical project and program management considerations (e.g., risk, architectural, compliance, change, release) and the ability to factor them into decisions and recommendations.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the business impact of different solutions and the ability to assess trade-offs between business needs, technology requirements, and costs.
