Lead Financial Analyst

Your primary responsibility will be to apply accounting standards and methodologies to evaluate financial data, generate precise and timely financial reports and statements, and ensure the implementation of suitable accounting control measures.
This position encompasses a range of accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and assistance with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Core Accounting Responsibilities:
Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Regularly reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Conduct actual versus budget analysis and variance assessments.
Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing historical financial data and trend analysis.
Monitor and report on budget performance and variances.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to US GAAP and company policies.
Implement and uphold internal financial controls and procedures.
Identify and address potential risk areas while developing mitigation strategies.
Mentor and guide junior accounting personnel.
Engage in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience is essential.
Experience in public accounting or a corporate finance setting is preferred.
Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis is necessary.
A strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting is required.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications is expected.
