About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Petro Canada/A&W. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Transactions: Accurately process customer payments, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card transactions.
  • Tabulate Payments: Calculate and tabulate total payments for goods or services sold.
  • Reconcile Sales: Reconcile daily/shift payments received with total sales to ensure accuracy.
  • Suggestive Selling: Provide customers with product recommendations and suggestions to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Stock and Clean: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, provide assistance, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Self-Checkout Assistance: Assist customers with self-checkout processes and resolve any technical issues.
  • Promotional Activities: Participate in promotional activities and events to drive sales and customer engagement.
Personal Suitability
  • Accuracy: Maintain high levels of accuracy in all transactions and tasks.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Hours: The typical work schedule is 30 to 40 hours per week.
