Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that staff are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that inventory and supplies are managed effectively to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that adequate coverage is provided to meet customer demand and that staff are able to take breaks and rest periods as required.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
