Job Title: AZ Owner Operator

GFL Environmental is seeking an experienced AZ Owner Operator to join our Line Haul Division in South Western Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting solid waste from transfer stations to various landfills and daily runs to Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport solid waste from transfer stations to various landfills
  • Perform daily inspections of vehicles to ensure safe operation and public safety
  • Document and log driving/break periods in accordance with DOT & MTO Regulations
  • Comply with applicable legislation, including safe operation of vehicles, carriage of goods, Hours of Service, occupational health and safety, customs and immigration, weights and dimensions
  • Drive approximately 600Km-1100km a day, with 10-14 hour runs
  • Home nightly
Requirements:
  • Valid AZ License
  • Ability to cross US border in a CMV daily
  • 3+ years of related AZ driving experience
  • Ability to provide Driver's Abstract, CVOR Abstract, and criminal background check
  • Great attitude and work ethic
