Government and Stakeholder Relations Manager

The Mosaic Company is seeking a highly skilled Government and Stakeholder Relations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive policy, political, and regulatory strategies at the local, provincial, and federal government levels to support the company's mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement government relations strategies to advance Mosaic's interests and promote the company's mission and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key government officials, stakeholders, and industry associations to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging policy issues and trends to identify opportunities and risks for Mosaic.
  • Develop and execute advocacy plans to influence government policy and regulatory decisions that impact Mosaic's operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination on government relations activities.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to senior leadership on government relations matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of public affairs and government relations experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Canadian, Saskatchewan law and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong experience with stakeholder and government relations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, facilitation, and listening skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate persuasively about highly technical issues.
  • Highly professional demeanor and diplomacy skills.
  • Positive and goal-oriented individual with uncompromising principles and a superior work ethic.
