Job Summary

This role is responsible for assisting in the packaging and processing of shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify picking tickets match order numbers on boxes
  • Maintain a well-organized shipping environment
  • Ensure shipments are processed on schedule
  • Communicate effectively with other departments
  • Efficiently use UPS, FedEx, Purolator, and Loomis software
  • Understand commercial invoices and freight orders
  • Package industrial electronics and related components for shipment
Performance Metrics
  • Package Handling: Maintain standard processing procedures to ensure accuracy and adjust volume of work as needed
  • Processing counts are measured and checked for accuracy against standard
  • Employee will be evaluated on order accuracy and performance level against volume demand
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct reports.

Physical Demands
  • Occasional sitting, reaching, climbing, or balancing
  • Frequent walking
  • Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
  • Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds

Work Schedule

This is an hourly position with a schedule of 9:00AM – 6:00PM, Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch.
