Key Responsibilities- Manage and provide leadership for assigned clinical operations, including staff leadership and contract management.
- Oversee the operational and administrative activities of clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Foster an environment that empowers and supports individuals to provide safe, quality care.
- Develop and implement operating and capital budgets, review expenses, and establish action plans to achieve departmental objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, including recruitment, development, and performance management.
- Represent the Department in third-party venues and establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in strategic planning, clinical services development, and the development of short- and long-term tactical plans.
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in health sciences or a related field.
- Seven years of recent related experience, including two years in a leadership role.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability in related clinical healthcare practice, education, and program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and carry out projects.
- Knowledge of department management processes under collective agreements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and preparation principles, concepts, and methods.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and with changing priorities and deadlines.
