About the Opportunity
The Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream faculty position in the area of Personality Psychology or Social Psychology. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in Personality Psychology or Social Psychology, with a focus on emerging scholars and innovative approaches.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Psychology, with a focus on developing curriculum and instructional materials.
- Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, with a focus on mentoring and professional development.
- Contribute to departmental and university service, with a focus on committee work and community engagement.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field, with a focus on research and teaching experience.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion.
