Product Strategy Director

Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company is seeking a seasoned Director, Product Strategy & Management to spearhead our product development efforts. This role will be responsible for driving strategic product initiatives, overseeing product development processes, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement product roadmaps, leveraging market analysis, customer insights, and data-driven decision making. They will also foster relationships with external stakeholders, including start-ups and established healthcare innovators, to identify opportunities for new products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Lead product development teams to design, develop, and launch new products and services.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create effective positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage product portfolios, including product lifecycle management, product maintenance, and product retirement.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, including product vision, product strategy, and product roadmap.
- Measure product success using key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business or a related field; MBA or Product Management certification is an asset.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in product management, product development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of driving business growth through product innovation and strategic product management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience with product development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Knowledge of product management tools and technologies, including product information management (PIM) systems.
Great-to-haves:
- Experience with business casing and KPI scorecard development.
- Clinical experience in the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and modeling.
- Bilingual in English and French.
