About the Role:

The Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Supply Custodian. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our schools and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide custodial services to our schools and buildings, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Assist with the management of school supplies and materials.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and performing minor repairs.
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of the job.
