This role involves a hybrid work model, with in-office presence required four days a week and the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. As part of the Corporate Development team, your responsibilities will include the development and enhancement of various financial models and forecasting tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect essential data for the assessment of potential acquisitions.
  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and due diligence to determine the financial feasibility and valuation of prospective acquisitions.
  • Support the creation of business case summaries and recommendations concerning potential transactions.
  • Facilitate the deal documentation and transaction closure process through collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the evaluation of special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or Big 4 audit.
  • Progress towards a professional designation (CPA/CBV/CFA) is preferred.
  • A motivated individual with a genuine passion for finance and mergers & acquisitions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to colleagues and senior management.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
