Informa Connect of Informa PLC is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Commercial Banking Client Coverage team as a Vice President of Commercial Sales. This dynamic individual will be responsible for increasing revenue from existing clients and new markets in the Treasury Management and Commercial Banking space.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in commercial banking sales, with a strong understanding of commercial distribution solutions and the ability to forge long-lasting relationships with senior executives.
Key Responsibilities- Support Client Managers and Product Owners in developing sales strategies and executing on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Partner with the Sales and Delivery teams to plan, prepare, and execute on sales initiatives
- Develop and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the value proposition and how it meets client needs
- Collect and document competitive intelligence and provide feedback to product, sales, and marketing functions
- Conduct industry webinars and lead campaign development for distribution products and solutions
- Bachelor's Degree required OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 7+ years of experience in commercial banking sales performance, and/or with experience at distribution solutions or advisory firms
- Proven ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights from data, including advanced Excel skills
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience with retail banking analytic solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and creativity skills
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to turn around time-sensitive research findings with a high degree of accuracy and insight
- Hands-on experience with commercial banking solutions, products, and pricing structures
- Strong storytelling, data visualization, and presentation skills
- Track record of successfully managing and delivering on multiple projects at a time, being hands-on with data, and distilling key actionable insights
- Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and organized
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to travel
Base Salary Range: Starting at $135,000 (plus Commission)
