Cable Installer Job Description

Sunlight Electrical Ltd. is seeking a skilled Cable Installer to join our team. As a Cable Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining cable networks, ensuring high-quality connections and efficient communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Testing: Test equipment to locate transmission faults and ensure optimal network performance.
  • Cable Installation: Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment, including splicing, joining, and connecting wires.
  • Report Maintenance: Complete and maintain test and service reports, detailing any issues or repairs made.
  • Troubleshooting: Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble, and take corrective action to resolve issues.
  • Cable Management: Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets, ensuring efficient cable management and minimizing downtime.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers, ensuring optimal network performance.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
