Job Title: Residence Co-ordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residence Co-ordinator to join our team at Oakville Children's Home Ltd. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Residence Co-ordinator will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of our residential program, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients. This includes preparing reports, implementing life skills workshops, and supervising activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports or case histories to ensure accurate documentation of client progress
  • Implement life skills workshops to support client development and independence
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients to ensure comprehensive support
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Intensive behavioural intervention Certification
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Child welfare check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Medical exam
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
