We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our team at 1949871 Ontario Inc. as a Patient Care Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
- Take patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Serve meal trays and feed patients in a safe and dignified manner.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to their needs.
- Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
- Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
