Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed and trustworthy Cleaning Technicians Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Cleaning Technicians while ensuring that cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld across various environments. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic will enhance our clients' satisfaction throughout the Annapolis Valley.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and monitor the activities of the Cleaning Technicians on your team.
  • Conduct general cleaning duties, which include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
  • Sanitize restrooms, ensuring all toilets, sinks, and fixtures are clean.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes.
  • Ensure cleanliness in shared spaces, such as hallways, lobbies, and waiting areas.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to maintain a pristine appearance.
  • Restock essential supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations regarding the use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
  • Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete cleaning tasks within set timeframes.
Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in professional cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials is beneficial.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to work during non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
