Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Merry Pop Ins Childcare Centre Inc is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our childcare centre.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to work with our team of experienced educators. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create individualized learning plans
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts, to engage children and promote learning
  • Assist with daily routines, including bathing, feeding, and diaper changing
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
  • Work collaboratively with other educators to ensure a smooth and efficient childcare environment
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent
  • Experience working with children in a childcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift children and participate in activities
