Position: Solutions Architect

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with ministry personnel to evaluate and comprehend business project requirements and desired outcomes.
  • Creating conceptual and logical designs for business technology challenges.
  • Serving as the Technical Lead on projects, ensuring that vendor and government technical resources adhere to current standards and align with the GOS environment's direction.
  • Facilitating the review and approval of solution designs through the technical governance framework.
  • Overseeing the technical implementation and rollout of new business solutions.
  • Contributing to the advancement of the architecture practice.
  • Establishing and maintaining technology standards and system roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a lead Solutions Architect on various business technology initiatives.
  • Proven track record in implementing complex enterprise technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Expertise in contemporary business and data analysis practices.
  • Knowledge of government procurement documentation and processes.
  • Understanding of technology governance frameworks and standards.
  • Experience in facilitating collaboration with ministry partners and third-party vendors.
