Job Title: Pet Groomer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pet Groomer to join our team at 2coms. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathing and shampooing pets, including dogs and cats, using gentle and effective techniques.
  • Clipping and styling pets' coats, including full coat styling, hand stripping, and scissoring.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, and stalls, as well as work areas and tools.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Lifting and carrying dogs into bathing tubs and onto grooming tables, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pet grooming or a related field.
  • Valid grooming certification is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of breed standards and cuts is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

Our pet grooming shop is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will work with a variety of breeds and sizes of dogs and cats. You will be required to lift and carry pets, as well as stand for extended periods.
