Retail Operations Supervisor

The Retail Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily activities within the store, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Oversee the performance of team members, including apprentices and design staff.
- Recruitment and Training: Manage the hiring process and facilitate training programs for new employees.
- Work Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
- Sales Management: Actively engage in selling merchandise and achieving sales targets.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, inventory management, and personnel issues.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply chain challenges.
- Inventory Control: Organize and maintain stock levels to ensure availability of products.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of store personnel.
- Cash Management: Oversee cash handling and financial transactions.
- Education: No formal degree required.
- Experience: Willingness to train; prior experience in retail is an asset.
- Employment Type: Permanent position.
- Language: English is the primary working language.
- Work Hours: Flexible hours ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week.
