This pivotal role includes managing the car dealer initiative and the exclusive tire program, as well as crafting a marketing plan for retail sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the marketing budget for the car dealer and exclusive tire programs;
  • Effectively oversee the Marketing Funds program and collaborate with OEMs to develop a marketing strategy;
  • Engage with dealerships and OEMs to align on marketing initiatives;
  • Define the features and value proposition tailored for the car dealer market;
  • Collaborate with various automotive manufacturers to create and execute omni-channel B2C marketing campaigns;
  • Contribute to the marketing strategy for the retail sales channel by focusing on branding, program features, value propositions, activity calendars, and media campaigns;
  • Work alongside the Finance Department to conduct thorough ROI analyses for promotions and campaigns;
  • Partner with key customers to enhance tire sales and drive strategic initiatives;
  • Participate in the launch of new products by outlining product features, planning promotional materials, and updating product offerings;
  • Organize promotional events and establish a promotional calendar;
  • Coordinate new developments with IT, manage web agencies, and oversee design agencies;
  • Support the expansion of B2C tire eCommerce platforms, utilizing tools like Google Analytics and Google Ads to optimize conversions.

Success Factors

  • Expertise: A University degree in business administration with a focus on marketing, coupled with extensive experience (10 years) in business development and marketing. A strong passion for marketing and a keen interest in the automotive sector, particularly in tire distribution, are essential;
  • Language Skills: Proficient in both French and English (oral and written), with a creative flair for crafting messages for diverse audiences. *(Bilingualism is required if the candidate is based in Montreal. If based in Burlington, only English is required)*;
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, with strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and formulas). Familiarity with social media and graphic design software is advantageous;
  • Leadership: Ability to inspire confidence and credibility, effectively mobilizing colleagues through passion and management skills. A strong team spirit is crucial for guiding colleagues towards innovative initiatives;
  • Client Focus: Analytical thinking to comprehend client needs, combined with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster business relationships and enhance company revenues;
  • Organizational Skills: Capability to manage stress under a heavy workload, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and lead the team towards achieving objectives.
