Role Summary:

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Associate Client Executive in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and enhance client relationships, while also acquiring new clientele and collaborating with diverse resources to deliver exceptional client solutions.
  • Assume full accountability for all client solutions and resource delivery, as well as managing and growing the client Profit & Loss (P&L) across a portfolio of business.
  • Collaborate with the Client Executive on accounts to support client service initiatives and facilitate professional growth.

Essential Duties:

  • Assess client and prospect exposure loss history and current coverage to analyze risks and determine necessary products/services.
  • Effectively communicate client requirements and binding instructions to insurers.
  • Develop and uphold a quality service plan, ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, and relevant documentation.
  • Prepare and present renewal proposals to existing clients.
  • Conduct stewardship meetings with client involvement.
  • Drive new sales through existing clients and referrals, in alignment with the business strategy.
  • Ensure timely billing and collection for each client.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across all company functions to enhance client service and promote cross-selling opportunities.
  • Engage relevant industry groups and Marsh resources to provide optimal solutions for each client/prospect.
  • Participate in professional development activities and courses.
  • Adhere to Marsh Excellence and Professional Standards to guarantee high-quality service to all clients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance.
  • RIBO license or the ability to obtain one within three months of hire.
  • Strong business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of general business functions and financial matters.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
