Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nomis Food Services Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fast food outlet, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles.

Estimate and Manage Resources

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality and Safety

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Manage Budget and Reports

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Address Customer Concerns

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience.

Work Setting

Fast food outlet or concession.

Supervision

5-10 people.
