About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machined Parts Inspector to join our team at Quest-Tech Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our machined parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dimensional Measurement and Inspection: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Workpiece Preparation: Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly to ensure efficient production.
  • Machinery Setup and Maintenance: Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to optimize production efficiency.
  • Instrument Calibration: Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports to track production quality.
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality parts.
  • Product Verification: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
