We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Community Addiction and Mental Health Clinic (CAMHC) team in South Calgary. As a primary therapist, you will provide assessment and targeted time-limited goal-focused therapy for clients with moderate to severe mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct intake, clinical interviews, and screening of clients with addiction and mental health disorders
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively with other team members
- Participate in program planning, development, and provide supervision to practicum students
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing with relevant training and experience
- Active or eligible registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an adult community clinic mental health therapy setting
- Adult individual and group therapy experience, adult mental health assessment and crisis stabilization experience, and training in DBT and Trauma focused treatment
A Master's degree is preferred for all relevant disciplines, and training and experience in goal-focused episodic care and the recovery model are also desirable.
