Culinary Specialist

Taco Time is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that all items are properly stored and rotated.
- Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for food preparation and service.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
The Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical activity. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a clean and safe work area is essential.
