Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Alan Wallbridge. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Chores: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Special Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, reliability, honesty.

  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
