Job Title: Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Canada West Equipment. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, and performing various other outdoor tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, mulching, and installing irrigation systems.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and perform other outdoor maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to prepare for landscaping projects.
  • Lay sod or seed to create a lush, green lawn.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers and other chemicals to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
