Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice to join our team at Summit Truck and Equipment Repair in Salmo, British Columbia. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of heavy equipment and commercial transport vehicles, including trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality repairs and preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers.
  • Discuss ideas, diagnose issues, and find solutions to difficult problems.
  • Complete inspection reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with supervisors and other staff members in all departments.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of apprenticeship foundations training from a qualified trades diploma program.
  • Experience in commercial truck and trailer repair.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.
