Community Development Facilitator

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Development Facilitator to join our team at School District #43 (Coquitlam). As a key member of our community development team, you will be responsible for providing support to the daily operations of community development programming and collaborating with colleagues to facilitate districtwide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to community development programming, including community schools and districtwide initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement community development programs and services.
- Work with community partners to build relationships and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of community development best practices and trends.
- Contribute to the development of community development policies and procedures.
- Diploma in Recreational Leadership Management/Community Development or equivalent.
- 4 years recent experience in recreation, social services, education, and/or social sciences and program delivery/management.
- Computer skills required, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license. Business use of personal vehicle required.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $35.70/hour (40 hours/week) in addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health, dental, and municipal pension plan (MPP).
