Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Nurjehan Lalani. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

This is a temporary position requiring 30 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and at least one year of experience in a related field. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking
  • Feed or assist with feeding
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide personal care
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • Secondary school graduation certificate
  • At least one year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
Work Environment:

Our clients live in non-smoking environments, and you will be required to work in a similar setting.

Security and Safety:

A criminal record check is required for this position.
