Production Support Specialist

About Astra North Infoteck Inc.: We are a leading provider of digital media solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Analyst to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Production Support Analyst to support our Radio/TV Broadcast applications in our Digital Media production environment. The successful candidate will have experience with Radio/TV Broadcast application support, Deskside support, or other functions within the Media space.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot network, application, and system issues to resolution and isolate problems using system logs and other tools.
- Design Akamai cloud-based solutions for the delivery and storage of web applications, sites, and environments.
- Coordinate with DevOps, CloudOps, developers, and support staff to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
- Monitor performance metrics for various production systems and identify root cause for technical issues and recommend solutions.
- Manage vendors, including tracking hardware/software issues and driving vendors to resolve issues.
- Follow ITIL processes and procedures for incident management, change management, and problem management.
- Work independently to efficiently and effectively resolve customer and client issues and support team members to meet or exceed required SLA's.
- Manage security across the environment, including user administration across various applications.
- Manage service requests related to domains and DNS.
- 6-8 years of experience in Production Support Analyst or related field.
- Experience with Radio/TV Broadcast application support, Deskside support, or other functions within the Media space.
- Proven ability to work with Media projects to deliver new and enhanced functionality to the business.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
