Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our Automation & Digitalization division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead control systems projects from inception to completion, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Control System Design: Design and develop control systems, including hardware and software components, to meet the specific requirements of a project.
  • Algorithm Development: Develop and implement control algorithms and logic.
  • Integration and Testing: Integrate control systems with existing or new equipment, machinery, or processes, and test and debug control systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, user manuals, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering with a focus on automation and electrification technologies.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, with consulting engineering experience an asset.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of automation and electrification technologies, including knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
