Job Title: General Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit General Construction Labourer to join our team at Long Lake Landscape Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and assisting in framing houses and building roofs.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Assisting in framing houses and building roofs
  • Mixing and pouring concrete and asphalt
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and other debris from construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines and equipment used in construction
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in construction an asset
  • Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and ear plugs required
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a physically demanding environment. The work site will be dusty and may involve working at heights.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 to 40 hours per week.
