Job Summary

Art\u0027s Automotive is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Valid driver\u0027s license.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent education and training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
