About the Role

Cabinet Arts Ltd is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden furniture and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans and specifications to create custom furniture pieces
  • Trim and assemble wooden components to form complete units
  • Apply finishes and coatings to enhance the appearance of finished products
  • Estimate materials and costs for projects
  • Repair and restyle existing furniture and fixtures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Physical ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools
Work Environment
  • Public transportation available
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
