Next Power Inc. is seeking a dedicated Survey Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the successful execution of projects in the engineering and construction sectors.
Employment Details- Job Type: Permanent
- Working Language: English
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Perform economic evaluations and feasibility assessments
- Design and implement strategies for the remediation of contaminated sites
- Plan and oversee highway and roadway development projects
- Serve as the project or site lead for surveying and construction activities
- Conduct site inspections to collect pertinent data
- Analyze survey and field data to produce topographic, soil, and hydrological reports
- Create construction specifications and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance of construction plans with applicable building codes and regulations
- Establish and track project timelines
- Assess and recommend suitable construction materials
- Review and approve civil design and survey work
- Supervise and mentor technicians and junior engineers, reviewing designs and cost estimates
- Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with a provincial or territorial association
- Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience
