Red Seal Mechanic Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Saanichton, Victoria, BC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a fleet of garbage trucks and heavy diesel trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy duty vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Work with hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and safe work practices
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of experience in truck and trailer repairs
  • Ability to pass pre-employment tests
  • Experience with drivability, hydraulics, and engines
