Job Summary:
Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in a Casual Relief capacity. As a key member of our retail pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and services, adhering to federal, provincial, and regulatory requirements.
- Exercise professional judgment and practice within established standards of practice, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals in the community to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians and assistants in the delivery of medication and patient services.
- Assist in the management of inventory, including the ordering of prescription and over-the-counter products.
- Responsible for the procurement, safekeeping, and disbursement of all narcotics and controlled substances.

Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctorate in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Have experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Hold a pharmacy license to practice and be in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy with Additional Prescribing Authority (APA).
- Canadian Diabetes Educator Certificate and Asthma Action Plan experience would be an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
- Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most.
